From Sepang to Coolangatta.All of us checked in separately as we all camefrom 3 states on that day - Selangor, Negeri Sembilan,Melaka.Flight was about on time 2150hrs, slightlydelayed by the stewardess who kept head counting andhead counting over and over again. Next to Maria was a mysterious lady whose jeanszippers were down, and gave lots of tips of how tosurvive in Australia.... what was gathered fromher during the sleepy hours... "woolsworth, maggiemee,prawn,yogurt, sunglasses ....zzzz"She actually missed her flight the night beforecoz did not apply for her visa.Mala bought Air Asia red watch on board, hotchocolate as well.Yatie board TEH TARIK and spilledmineral water at 3am in the morning.

Coolangatta - Seacrest - Surfers paradise3am on the plane we all pening kepala on what todeclare and what not to declare at the immigration.Arrived early 0720hrs.Capt Param Jit stepped on the brake with all hismight.braaaaarpppppruuuuppdrrraaapppppdegegdegedegegegedeg,overhead compartment was rattling like going to falldown.remembered that the plane was old leased one...not brand new .... must be thats the caused.Dazed.Went thru immigration, screening machine.Mala's Pill chikitti On was left in the toilet .Saw the lady with the zippers down got hung up atimmigration. capt Param Jit looked cool andcalculated. His turban was not dishervelled by thelanding.Got bus transfered to Seacrest apt. ( pronouce asSea krays).Reached early at Seacrest apt at 8.20am.was told to walk around till about 1130 for checkin.left the bags there and walked to no where, andended up in Surfers Paradise.Starting to notice that the sun bright.Startled by how people were dressed.minimalist yet colourful..... The wind was chilly like you bukak freezer.again, alot of ladies wearing "kemban dress" cutto the knees.with selipar jepun. the guys have the Vshape, and dress in seluar katok aka bermuda, somewith surfboard, some with girls.Some withbikinis.In the middle of the town.Cars passing by.Lots of souvenier shops.Lots of souvenier shops.Cinta pertama was "THE CHEEKY SHOP"looked so cute and has very catchy name and look likegot lots of goodies for 5 dollars.These later became the greatest event of the week.Ate our first meal - KEBAB, as long as tissue box."sister ...sister .... " was his caption, like AirAsia caption "everyone can fly"Lepas kebab, Mala suggested we had a drink at hardRock Cafe.kebab pun mengah nak habis kan ..... Foundout she just wanted the Hard Rock glass , not drink.she got the glass, we took photos of the entrance asevidence we have reach there ..hehehefirst souvenir collection award goes to MALA!!!Went back to check in at the apartment, limping, withgroceries and hard rock glass.The apartment was so cozy and spacious looking,glasswalls on all sides except for the entrance part.fully equip with just about anything you want to thinkof.dishwasher,microwave,washing machine,dryer,hairdryer hung from the wall.what took us by surprise was the air condition.tak ada , what you call it ... controller?you got to pay extra to stay cool !!!!!

Sea World Let's list down the agenda agenda in there :sweet talking guy selling 10 dollar plush.told him, we'll come back.Then, we saw dugong and feeling rather sceptic...betul ke nama dia "Pig" ?inside got 2 dugong, whcih one was "Pig"?discovered the small LRT and circled the whole SeaWorld on that.It started to rain heavily when we reach sesamestreet.(suddenly remembered the lady with the zipper down onthe plane said - "it never rain in queensland)just the right time for lunch too.dont ever take the seafood combo.the apple wedges was too sweet and looked like dogpoo.but the person who thot of that did not voice out.they dont have straws and no plastic bags -"environment concern"Proceed to the world famous polar bear."chinook", soon found out there were 3-4 bears, whichone was "kanook" as advertised?(you all betul ke nama dia "kanook"?}lama we all tengok Kanooks, we could view it fromabove, and going down the stone stairs, we could viewit from down under, where we could only see its bontotswaying heavily in the water.Its fur was like the monster in "Monster INcs"ppeople crowding the glass panel and mala and mariagot to enjoy another more relevent view ....ehem.captured on video too. (boleh ke paste video tu mala?)from there move on to "shark bay" ... boring...where's the violence??yatie started walking very fast , leaving us behind.looked so tensed ....ooooo then recalled she keptmentioning dolphins, dolphins, dolphins, everytime wediscussed itinerary back in malaysia."maria ...you tak nak tengok dolphins ke maria?"that sentences always kept coming back again andagain, till now.dolphins show was a wonder that awes.(serious)everytime dolphins melompat, things came to mind,dunno what things on every people mind, "kalau sekor,berapa orang boleh makan", or "bentuk badan dia macamsardine dalam tin", "besar nye ikan ni"yatie was emotinally attached. "pandai kan dolphin ni,dia tau bila dia kena perform, and dia tau bila diasuppose balik ke tempat dia"mala had no opinion, but later she went back to thesweet talking guy and purchase the plush dolphin.proceeded to 3D show in a dark theather on"environmental effect on wild life" ... cartoons in3D, the chairs rocks, water was sprayed, wore 3Dglasses. this one is quite entertaining.out in the sunlight, yang sudah bright, we moved on tothe cabel car that crosses the seaworld back to thestarting point , in time of the water skiing show.ada 4 dancers ala ala "solid gold" on shore, ada lawakala ala "senario", banyak pakai lagu 70's.Proceed to ladies as Mala got bird poo poo on hertudung.after that was when Mala adopt another animal.a purple monkey that screetch everytime anyone getnearit.Malam tu, we had nasi goreng cina , goreng sendiri andtelur dadar.

Movie worldreal life scooby do and geng, plus the van !!!shaggy was like loyar buruk.justice leagues - wonder woman, robin, elastic man andsapa tah lagi satu , walking about.ninja's slipping from building to building.it was drizzling. did anybody mention "it never rainin queenland"?then there were the batman shop, the shrek shop, theharry potter shop, ada jual magic wand!!looked like a branch only, and about RM300.drizzling,drizzling, the whole place can make a childgo crazy of excitement. drizzling,drizzling.sampailah ke scooby doo train ride." with latestspecial effect, and as seen on the movie"the queue was long, but it must be worth it...kan kankan. tak sabar nak tengok ghost popping out, or furmonster chasing the train. kat tempat queue pun adastatues of gothic like creatures, menyangkung sanasini.so, maria & mala in the front seat.yatie behind. and the ride starts yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.nampak ghost, nampak scooby doo said something, adakapak kapak besar swaying on top of our heads.then suddenly the little coach stop and was lifted up, quite high but, dunno how high coz it was dark.it stopped , maybe to wait for turn coz in front therewas another little coach.tapi to horror of all horror, suddenly coach we alljatuh ke belakang, and we started to scream and screamand scream, then it twisted and started to moveforward, very fast, then fast twist 180 degreee toleft, fat forward, fast twist 180 to right then, zoomdown and down and twist to left180 degree, faastforward ... macam tu lah ulang ulang.there was a big disco light somewhere from somewhere.rasa nak terpelanting, rasa "we will die on the nexttwist" halfway semua dah senyap, terkedu, kedengaranmala "allah ...ya allah" at every twist in the dark.terror ride. selipar maria putus.proceed to shrek's live show.shrek and geng sing and dance.cute show, good rest after the terror ride.Movie world also house the superman 'escape" rollercoaster, Batman "yo yo" ride, behind the garagecoaster ride (apa nama dia mala ... i lupa),and theworst really was the Scooby Doo ride in the dark, allactually suitable for Dr Syed Muzaffar (malaysianastronaut).Then there was the live action of Bonny and Clyderobbing a bank. This one was a class act. live andentertaining and involve the audience on the street. Finale was the parade.out came Austin powers, cat woman, shrek and geng,scooby doo and geng (again), the police (lupa mala...),justice league (tanya anak anak you all, to thosewho dont know), tweety bird , car with sylvester'shead(tanya anak yerr), and yang paling grand was thebatman, standing on the side step of his blackautomobile , cruising pass us ....... batman!!!batman!!! batman !!!!!Tapi dalam saat saat ghairah tu, ada Cina Cina macau,as usual lacking of what everybody else in this world.Sanggup menyelit ,and signaling Yaite like, shoo shoobird, so she can add the 4th buttock to the bench.Andmulut bising kecoh , just like how they behave at theairport.Malam - sight seeing and some serious shopping insurfers paradise. yatie loves tshirts.

Harbour Point.But first at 4.30morning, Maria went to the beach.felt so beruntung to view sun rise from the sea on theright side. Storm coming in from the left side.click click click, video video video. Sun was burningand very big and very bright .... at 5 morning.6.30am Maria and mala had breakfast while yatie wenton charging her battery for what's coming up for theday.Harbour Point - shop till either you drop or you donthave money. Mala and maria dropped outside the biggestsouvenier warehouse waiting for yatie pulling down alltshirts from the highest rack. the cheapest littlekoalas come from here."look at them clunching the crapped souveniers as ifits treasure" It was one hour bus journey to get there, and anotherhour to reach Seacrest apt. And rushing for the "Aquaduck ride". Mala and yatie rushed down to catch thebus up to surfers paradise, Maria ran all the wayyybehind the bus till Surfers paradise. bawak maggie meesedap, letak telur lagi.They couldnt believe theireyes, seeing maria reaching the Aquaduck point onfoot."kalau hati hendak sangat, semua boleh jadi" motivator: it was a RM100 ride.The Aquaduck ride splashed into the sea and back tosurfers paradise. Sun was real hot it seems.felt skinburning.oh ...we saw jackie chan's house.proceed to serious shopping. mesti siap malam ni jugakcoz dah tak sempat dah lepas ni!!!Malaysian restaurant was opposite hard rock cafe.family business, the son doesnt speak bahasa melayu.setting macam kenduri kawin, kerusi balut kain andberiben besar. makan nasik goreng, kuey tiawhainan,teh tarik. jumpa family malaysian, the fatherlooked so tired and sour face.went into alll , alllll souvenier shop in surfersparadise ...ended at Cheeky shop.that own by chinesemalaysian,the lady gladly accept malaysian ringgit asshe wants to go back malaysia coz Air Asia , the newflight,she heard ...waaaaaa very very very cheap !!!we were all laughing with relief, laughing andlaughing and laughing. Dollars running low, naktukar,exchange was horrible. Maria has already set hermind, whatever it is, the cash the limit. credit cardban!!! unless you want to cry back in malaysia. yatiewas by card or by cash, she must have all the tshirtsin surfers paradise!!!

Paradise CountryOf cowboys and kangaroo and koala bears too.we were lucky that an old pak guard gave us a liftinto the Paradise Country check point."one kilometers exactly" he said.So ,tengok real life koala, see no touch.if you touch, please pay 14 dollars.see kangaroo. feed the kangaroo.feed all baby animals.lets move on to sheep shearing.banyak jenis sheep, Merino being the largest.audience full of japaness and china tourist.ada translation in respective language each time theshow man said something. so, like there were delayedresponds for all his jokes. There was Jeff the cowboy.kept slapping maria'sfingers.period.The highlight was the lunch ala ala ranch style, siapdengan penyanyi live "country rooooad,take mehoooome,to the place, i beloooonggggg ..."we ate a lot.potato with butter.fish lasania.macaroni with butter.coffee , tea.Move on to Billy tea show. the language translationgetting to our nerves. We had billy tea and bread likescone. And saw how they ride horses and chase sheepsand cows. And play with whipps and boomerangs.After that was when mala adopt another animal - koala.we walked all the way out from the paradise country.1kilometer out, another meterss to the bus.sun was getting hotter and hotter till we cannot tahanand Mala and yatie got onto their respective beds.maria proceed to the beach.happening, waves rolling, people here and there.walked alll the wayyyyyyy on the beach ,right up tosurfers paradise.that's where she met him.in tight blue swim suit.surf board tuck neatly under his armpit."i surf every day""where you stay?""where's your friends?"where,what and who???She and he never ask each other's name."catch you later,i want to look for the waves" hesaid.malam proceed to the night market in surfer'sparadise.the whole stretch was stalls selling artcrafts.paintings, clocks, ornaments,jewelleries, macam macamada,semua ada, malas nak type dah ni.balik, start packing, arranging all what we gatheredfrom our hunts - tshirts,towels,animals, glitter eyeshadow, magnets, uncle's medicine.

0430 morning. all to the beach !!!!!! as instructed by mariahurried breakfast,hurry hurrry,clean up the apartment,sental periuk hangus.sorok periuk hangus. buangsampah.last check, nothing left, left bags at the reception,take quick ride to surfers paradise.discover "Royal souveniers" ...how come we didnt seethis??? oh my god, sini lagi best of all the best.maria ...remember ,the cash the limit.yatie still bought some chocolates.mala sengih sengih looking at the goodies and theprices which was wayy nicer and cheaper than theprevious. we need another day lahh ... kenapa pulakbook return ticket on the 9th eh? , why was it not onthe 10th??sudah lah tu, next time kita datang lagi yek, sambungshopping kat sini pulak.took the airport transfer.tunggu tunggu for the counter to open.glad we were among the first.the girl at the last counter waved "next!"silaplah. it took her 20 minutes to check us in."you didnt purchase the luggage" she saidyes we did."let me check the system,kay. ..... heyy,how do youcheck the system?""you open the fligh speed" said the girl next to her."hmmm ..you dont have the lugggage allowance""we definitely have" ... already very annoyed."let me get the supervisor""okay, sory to keep you waiting""ooooo .... they printer is not working""ooo sory i need your passport again,i need to checkyour passport"eeee ...bebulu nyerr.last nyer, we boarded the planethe annoying girl was on the plane till adaannouncement, "all ground operations please step outof the aircraft,as it is about to take off"Reached 20 minutes early, extremely smooth landing.home sweet home ......
